Scene 1 Folio Differences

This page lists specific differences that appear in the First Folio version of Hamlet as compared to the Second Quarto, in Scene 1, with analysis of those differences. So, it shows how I decided which wording to accept in the playscript of Hamlet as presented on this site.

The differences are listed by Scene 1 line number. The Second Quarto word or phrase is given first, then the Folio phasing below that. Where a word or phrase appears in one of the publications, but not the other, I use the word "none."
